Rioja Wine Shines Among Global Trade Professionals at ProWein 2024
The 2024 edition of ProWein concluded with Rioja proudly showcasing its wines amidst the global gathering of trade professionals.
Despite logistical challenges such as rail strikes, professionals from across the globe converged at the event, emphasizing its significance in the industry.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, ProWein served as a platform for Rioja and other wine-growing regions worldwide to exhibit their products. With 47,000 registered trade visitors from 135 countries and 5,400 exhibitors from 65 countries, the event highlighted the diversity and depth of the wine industry.
Rioja’s presence underscored its commitment to quality and tradition, standing alongside producers from Champagne to Ukraine. Amidst discussions on emerging trends like robotics in vineyards and addressing environmental challenges, Rioja showcased its rich heritage and distinctive terroir.
As ProWein continues to evolve, Rioja remains committed to sharing its storied wines with the global trade community. Looking ahead, Rioja anticipates further opportunities to engage with industry professionals and enthusiasts alike, reinforcing its position as a cornerstone of the wine world.
ProWein 2025 will be held in Düsseldorf from 16 to 18 March.
