What Is Rioja Camp?
RIOJA CAMP is an elite educational experience organized by Rioja Wine Academy, and exclusively tailored for the most discerning wine professionals.
Apply for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a Rioja ambassador and network with international wine experts in an exclusive setting.
Immerse yourself in enriching lectures, tastings, and unique bodega and vineyard visits to discover the latest developments and experience the diverse essence of Rioja.
Who Should Apply?
Exclusively for selected wine professionals seeking to deepen their Rioja expertise, including:
- A clear interest in becoming a Rioja ambassador—sharing their knowledge with peers, clients, or students.
- Wine educators at wine schools or in the trade
- Sommeliers and beverage/wine directors in hospitality
- Brand ambassadors, category managers and wine buyers at importers or distributors
- Wine savvy Press, wine writers, bloggers, etc
- Minimum of three years’ industry experience.
- Recognized wine education (WSET Level 3, CMS Advanced Sommelier, or equivalent).
Program Details & Dates
- Dates: November 10–14, 2025
- Location: Rioja, Spain
- Format: Four days of lectures, tastings, bodega and vineyard visits; evening networking and cultural activities.
- Travel: Participants arrange their own travel to and from Logroño; local transportation, meals (excluding free evenings), and accommodation are covered by the Consejo Regulador.

Due to its exclusive nature, Rioja Camp is limited to a single group of up to 25 professionals for 2025. Applications are now open for both Educator Pass and Trade Pass attendees.
